Speaker 1:

I just got done putting handles on my kitchen cabinet At the time of this recording. This is something I've been wanting to do for a while, but I finally got around to it as my incremental upgrade for August and I recorded my cute little videos. I just shared them on my Instagram stories my before and after and then I was like, hey, I should share this because this is a great tool for manifesting and raising your energetic vibration. So I'm going to give you a short and sweet episode about a tool I've been using for a couple months now that really helps with manifesting and just improving your overall quality of life, and it's called incremental upgrading. Basically, what incremental upgrades are are small, affordable improvements that you make to your space or to your lifestyle that don't require a heap of money or energy, but do enhance your life or your environment in some way. And the idea is that these tiny improvements here and there over time add up to big improvements, like the compound effect, and they also help to incrementally raise your energetic vibration, because when your environment is nicer and cleaner and more in alignment with you, with who you are and what you enjoy, you tend to feel better and happier in general, and that is a fundamental requirement for manifesting and attracting the lifestyle that you desire.

Speaker 1:

And the reason that is is because manifesting is largely an energy game. I mean, think about the law of attraction. The law of attraction says that like attracts like. So people experiences material things, things that exist and operate on a high vibration, high frequency energy. They attract to and surround themselves with like energy. So whatever energy you are giving off, that is what you're going to attract. So I will hear me say a lot. You don't attract what you want. You attract what you are. If you are high vibrational, if your energy is abundant, you are joyful, you will attract those things back to you. And vice versa, if you're very low vibrational, you have a negative attitude, anxiety-ridden, tend to be dramatic or confrontational, you're going to find yourself attracting those things. So your energy really plays a huge role in you manifesting and attracting the outcomes and just the lifestyle that you really desire.

Speaker 1:

We talk about manifesting a bit on this podcast and for all my newer people here, I'm a big believer and enthusiast for manifesting, and I am because manifesting is a science. It's very practical. It's not the woo-woo conversation of magic and miracles that a lot of people make it out to be. It doesn't replace religion, it doesn't replace spirituality, it's simply a science and everyone is manifesting every day, all the time. Why? Because manifesting is simply acting in alignment with who you believe you are and therefore behaving as such, and creating or attracting outcomes and experiences that are in alignment with that. It's literal science. It's not think it, believe it and then it magically appears.

Speaker 1:

So the basic steps for manifesting are ask for what you want. You've got to be very clear on what it is that you want. If you say, I want to lose weight and you lose one pound, but you're not happy because you really wanted to lose 10 pounds, well you didn't say that. You never specified that you wanted to lose 10 pounds. You just made it sound like you wanted to lose weight and you did so. Technically, you behaved in a way and created the exact result that you asked for.

Speaker 1:

Now, that's the first step, and then the second step to manifesting is to believe, believe that it's possible to achieve the desired result that you want, and also to believe that you are worthy, capable and deserving of that outcome. Why does this step matter? Because we'll act according to what we believe we are worthy of and to what we believe is possible for us. If I guaranteed you will lose 10 pounds if you show up to the gym three days a week for the next eight weeks. You'd get your ass up and you'd get to the gym three days a week for the next eight weeks because you know that result is waiting and it's guaranteed. But if I said you get your ass to the gym three days a week for the next eight weeks and you might lose 10 pounds not guaranteed, but you might you'd have to just try and see, maybe dabble then that's exactly how you would behave. You would dabble. Maybe the first week you'd be super motivated and you'd go all three days, maybe even four, and then the second week you might start questioning yourself Well, if the result isn't guaranteed, then what am I wasting my time and effort for? Anyways, I'm just going to take it easy this week. I deserve a break. And then maybe you go one or two days the third week and then you finish strong on the last week because it's the last week. But then you don't get the result you were looking for. And then that becomes confirmation that hey, I wasn't going to get the result anyways, and you reinforce that belief about yourself and your actions continue to be affected by that.

Speaker 1:

Well, the same goes with your belief about what you deserve, not just about losing weight or workout related. It applies to any and everything you want to manifest in your life a promotion or just making more money in general a spouse, a home, a family, a friendship, your lifestyle as a whole literally anything. So first you must be very clear on what it is that you want and ask for it. Don't be afraid to ask for it. And then you have to believe that you're worthy and that it's possible for you. And then, once you believe that you're going to take actions according to that and those actions are going to create or attract that outcome.

Speaker 1:

But where does energy come into play? Well, there's a very different energy behind. I'm doing this because I was told to do it, and I'm doing this because I believe that it will get me the result I'm looking for. Oh, I'm just doing this strategy so I can rule it out if it doesn't work. Or I'm doing this strategy because I really believe this is what's going to work.

Speaker 1:

Energy plays a huge role and I don't know if you've ever noticed, but high energy people are typically drawn to other high energy people. Same thing with opportunities and experiences. Can you think of someone in your life that is extremely high energy, extremely joyful, always has a positive attitude and it just seems like everything always works out for them, they always get the opportunities, they always have the best experiences, and that never seems to be the case for you. Or maybe you know someone who's always got some shit going on, they're always tied up in some drama, they always get the short end of the stick, or there's always one thing after another going wrong in their life and it seems like they just have poor luck. But I want you to notice the common denominator it's the energy. High energy people create and attract high vibrational outcomes, and low energy people create and attract low vibrational outcomes.

Speaker 1:

So this tool of incremental upgrading it's a very affordable and easily implementable tool to help raise your overall vibration, because those little improvements here and there are going to make your life easier. They're going to make your life feel more luxurious or they're going to make your life more beautiful or convenient in some way, and it's going to stroke your ego a little bit. It's going to make you feel like you're doing a little better in life, you're doing okay, and it's just going to raise the energy of your entire environment. So the incremental upgrade that I did last month was I got a table runner and a set of placemats for my dining room table Because I just felt like it made it look so much nicer and also it's making the cleanup so much more convenient. Because I have one of those farm-style wooden tables and it's got these little cracks like all over and crumbs and jellies and sauces and shit just get stuck in it all the time and I constantly feel like I'm having to clean it and dig it out. It's such a tedious, energy draining task but with the placemat I make my son eat over the placemat. He's four years old, so you can imagine if you have kids, but I make him eat over the placemat and if he does make a mess it's all contained by the placemat. I don't have to go digging in the cracks. So it makes my life a lot easier and it's also more appealing to the eye.

Speaker 1:

So that was last month and then this month I did the cabinet handles. Like I said, I've been wanting to do that for a while. I personally just think that cabinet handles make your cabinets look so much more luxurious. It's a nice touch and I got them for like $40 off Amazon I can't remember exactly, but I know it was under 50. Super cheap big upgrade. And then next month I'm planning to get a new shower caddy that currently have one of the ones that hangs over the top of your shower head but it's constantly sliding down and it gets on my nerves so bad. I'm constantly readjusting it, moving it and it's like falls down and scares me. So next month I'm going to get one that stands up in the shower. It sits on the ground and stands up literally going to be like a less than $20 upgrade, but, god, it's going to make my life so much better. It's going to relieve so much shower anxiety. I literally have shower anxiety because of this damn shower caddy, but I need something to hold my stuff, so I'm keeping it until I get the incremental upgrade.

Speaker 1:

But those are just some ideas of things that I've done. It doesn't have to be home improvement. It could be clothes, makeup, hair products, skin products, dishes, services. It can be quite literally anything. There's no rules around what qualifies and what doesn't. It's just anything that will improve your life in some way, whether practically or just aesthetically, and it's small enough that it barely feels like you actually had to do anything. You didn't spend an arm and a leg, you didn't expend an insane amount of energy to make it happen. That's not to say you can't do bigger projects here and there, bigger upgrades, but the idea of it being an incremental upgrade is that it's so small and so affordable that it doesn't even make sense not to do it, and also it's a small thing that has impact on your subconscious. So I hope that makes sense.

Speaker 1:

And I'm curious have you ever heard of incremental upgrading before? This is something I learned about recently. Like within the last few months. I feel like I've been doing it for a few years, but not consciously, not with the awareness that I was doing it, but I love it. I think it's so cool, such a good tool, especially if you do consider yourself to be an artistic or aesthetic person, because it really is so easy to enhance your surroundings in the smallest ways. And if you do consider yourself to be an aesthetic or artistic type of person, then you know just how important it is for your environment to reflect and to be energy enhancing. I hope this was helpful. I hope it sparked some ideas for you. I hope you start doing it Truly. It's a small habit you can start that really will compound to big results in your life.
